Memory becomes mission
Legacies of Light
36 Days of Inspiration from Elul to Simḥat Torah— in the footsteps of Israel’s fallen heroes since October 7th.
One hero. One voice. One day at a time — encounter their lives and words, and live their light forward.

Meet Roee, hear today’s reflection, and carry one value into your day.
A journey of 36 days of inspiration
Day 12 of 36 — each day, one more light joins the constellation.
How the journey works
Meet a hero
Each day is dedicated to one of Israel's fallen heroes — their photograph, their own words, and the story of how they lived.
Hear a voice
A rabbi, educator, or Jewish leader from somewhere in the world shares a short video reflection on that hero's legacy.
Live their light
Two questions turn their values — joy, giving, courage, kindness — into something you can practice today.
The quotes they left behind speak not of war, but of spreading love, joy, and care for others. They wanted their lives to be celebrated — as sources of light for us to live by.
